Munich, Germany, – Nemetschek Group, a leading AEC/O software provider, has unveiled a preview of AI Assistant, its first AI-agent-based technology for Archicad. Introduced at BAU 2025, the AI Assistant aims to revolutionize BIM architecture by streamlining creative exploration, saving time, and ensuring quality and compliance.
This announcement follows Nemetschek's commitment to integrating AI into all its solutions, as announced last year.
Design and Refine with AI
Embedded directly into Archicad as an AI chatbot, the AI Assistant provides access to product knowledge, industry insights, BIM model queries, and integrates with AI Visualizer. Users can seamlessly design and refine projects through a streamlined chat interface.
The AI Assistant will also be available in BIMx, Graphisoft's presentation and coordination app. This allows users to easily navigate projects on mobile devices, iPads, or even Apple Vision Pro, enhancing accessibility and flexibility.
"The AI Assistant delivers a consistent and cohesive user experience across our brands," said Julian Geiger, VP, head of AI product and transformation at the Nemetschek Group. "Empowering users with smarter tools while seamlessly transitioning between brands through a familiar interface."
Leading the Way in AI Innovation
"Graphisoft played a pivotal role in the development of the AI Assistant," said Márton Kiss, chief product officer at Graphisoft. "This highlights our dedication to delivering cutting-edge tools that shape the future of the AEC industry."
Rollout and Future Plans
The AI Assistant will be available for trial through Graphisoft's public Technology Preview later this year, with an official launch scheduled for the fall. Nemetschek plans to expand the AI Assistant to other group brands in 2025 and beyond, reinforcing its commitment to empowering the entire AEC/O industry.
