CHOOSE A PROGRAMME FOR YOUR INSTITUTION

One partnership.
Many ways to learn.

Start with an academic partnership or choose a focused programme. Open each option for the details.

Academic Partnership & MOUA continuing partnership that connects your institution with industry practice.

What a partnership can include

  • Complimentary Faculty Development Programmes for eligible partner institutions.
  • Free introductory technical workshops and BIM awareness sessions, subject to mutually agreed schedules.
  • Guest lectures and technical seminars with industry professionals.
  • Practical insight into project workflows, drawings, documentation and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Career awareness, project-based exercises and guidance on communication and professional expectations.

How we plan together

  • Discuss the departments, learner backgrounds and priorities of your institution.
  • Agree the scope of the MOU, eligibility, responsibilities and a workable activity schedule.
  • Deliver agreed sessions and review opportunities for continued academic engagement.

Complimentary activities depend on eligibility, the agreed MOU scope and scheduling. A partnership creates a continuing programme of engagement; it is not a promise of unlimited training or placement.

Student Technical Training & WorkshopsHands-on sessions, from focused workshops to structured training programmes.

Choose a suitable format

  • 5-day technical training
  • 10-day technical training
  • One-month intensive training
  • Custom durations by discussion

Training areas

  • AutoCAD and engineering drafting; Revit Architecture, Structure and MEP.
  • Navisworks Manage, SketchUp and relevant engineering applications.
  • BIM fundamentals, model coordination and project documentation.
  • Demonstrations, guided exercises, assignments and model development.

Technical workshops

Short, focused programmes can include software demonstrations, BIM awareness and guided practical exercises. We can plan one-day, multi-day or extended training around your institution’s needs.

Software skills and BIM processes are explained separately: not every engineering application is a BIM tool. Approved DDG BIM Services project examples may be adapted for learning, with client confidentiality protected.

Faculty Development ProgrammesHelp educators connect teaching with current software and industry workflows.

Explore in an FDP

  • BIM concepts and their applications across architecture, structure and building services.
  • Relevant Autodesk technologies and multidisciplinary project development.
  • Model development, documentation, coordination and industry case studies.
  • Employer expectations and developments in digital engineering and construction.

Bring back to the classroom

  • Connect academic lessons to professional project workflows.
  • Guide students towards appropriate technical skills and career pathways.
  • Build awareness of emerging tools, roles and industry practices.

Complimentary FDPs are available for eligible institutions with an active academic MOU. Autodesk-related technical guidance and resources are used where applicable; scope and schedules are agreed with the institution.

BIM Awareness & Career OrientationHelp students understand BIM roles, career paths and professional expectations.

What we explain

  • What BIM means and why it matters in modern engineering and construction.
  • How engineers and architects contribute to international projects.
  • The work of BIM modellers, engineers, coordinators and managers.
  • Technical skills, communication and professional habits that support these roles.
  • Ways to develop industry awareness during college.

The purpose

  • Give students useful, balanced career awareness.
  • Answer questions about different engineering pathways.
  • Help students make informed learning choices without promoting one particular software course.

Suitable for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Architecture learners. Session content is adjusted to the audience’s stage of study.

Industry Exposure & Project LearningConnect academic learning with the way engineering projects are delivered.

Inside professional project work

  • Project requirements, levels of development and interdisciplinary modelling.
  • Model reviews, coordination meetings and issue resolution.
  • Clash detection, reports, engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Professional communication, quality checks and client expectations.
  • International project standards and delivery processes.

Learning from approved examples

  • Where feasible, exercises use approved or adapted material from ongoing or completed DDG BIM Services projects.
  • Students may work with permitted models, drawings and project exercises that reflect professional practice.
  • Client confidentiality and project permissions determine what material can be shared.

Industry exposure is planned around feasibility and the agreed learning scope. It does not provide unrestricted access to client projects or guarantee an internship or job.

RECOGNITION WITH CLEAR REQUIREMENTS

Training Recognition
& Certification

Certificates depend on the programme, participation and completion requirements. An MOU or awareness session does not automatically include Autodesk certification.

Autodesk course completion

Available for qualifying programmes and eligible participants under the applicable Autodesk Authorized Training Center requirements. Our site authorisations below apply to BIM Cafe Learning Hub, Ernakulam.

BIM Cafe Learning Hub certificates

Participation or completion certificates may be provided for structured institutional programmes, according to their agreed learning and submission requirements.
