FAA Commits $481 Million to Upgrade Airports Across the United States

Airports across the United States are set to receive a major infrastructure boost, with the Federal Aviation Administration announcing $481 million in funding for improvements at 191 airports.

The investment is aimed at strengthening airport infrastructure and improving safety, with funding distributed across projects in different parts of the country.

More Than Runways

Airport development increasingly involves far more than expanding terminals or resurfacing runways. Modern airport programmes bring together passenger facilities, aircraft movement areas, utilities, security systems, access infrastructure and complex operational requirements.
