AECOM Selected to Design Silicon Valley’s Pure Water Demonstration Facility

Water infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important part of the built environment, and a new project in California highlights the growing investment in advanced water systems.

The Santa Clara Valley Water District has selected AECOM to provide professional design services for the Pure Water Silicon Valley Demonstration Facility. The project will explore direct potable reuse as a potential future source of drinking water.

The facility is intended to demonstrate how highly treated recycled water can be further processed and safely integrated into drinking-water supplies.
